I've lived about half a mile from this place for 6 years and only heard about it this week. I'm told people start lining up at the door 30 minutes prior to opening. We showed up 2 minutes after they opened and half a dozen tables were already full. It's small on the inside with a cute patio outside. Our server was super friendly and made it a fun experience; they seem to have a lot of regulars, so that says something about food and service. There was so much that looked good but went with the gorditas and wasn't disappointed. And let's talk about the margaritas....wow. So yummy. Not too sweet, definitely boozey. Will definitely be back to try more things, and to upgrade to a margarita pitcher.

OMG! The food was wonderful!! I hadn't been there in at least 20 years. I had moved away and recently returned to the area. Its very hard to notice now from Shawnee Mission Pkwy with other businesses around. I happened to notice it one day and decided to go back. I felt bad taking a table for four since I was by myself and seating is limited. Had a marguarita and it was very unique but very light and refreshing. Ordered the jalapeno bean dip and it was incredible. I could have made a meal on that alone. Then followed up with a taco salad. It was outstanding. I want to go back to try more items from the menu.

Great food at good prices. You can hardly see this place is there which is probably good cause they are overrun with people. Don't come here if you are wanting to hear the person you're eating with. It gets SO loud in such a small place that is the reason for the 4 not 5 stars. The good is great and well worth it.

Food was excellent, always is. Not enough floor staff. We waited a long time for a server, water, food, refills, and dessert. The staff that was there were working very hard.
